Do you know what an OZOBOT is?

A young boy and girl sit at a desk. Both are looking at the camera and smiling. A piece of paper lies on the desk. It has a colorful line drawn on it.Our 2nd graders do!! They are learning how to program computers. What fun...by using color sequences they can program their Ozobot to turn left, turn right, spin in a circle (called a tornado), make a zig zag line...and so much more! Young minds are so SMART! Ready to GROW...Let's go!!

More elementary computer programming!! SHCS's IT Coordinator, Mr. Gareis, told the class that they would soon learn how to "dress up" their Ozobot. Halloween anyone?

So why do we have these little round computers? They help support our STREAM education curriculums and present subjects like programming, math and science in a fun, innovative way. So far our students are super engaged and super excited!! What does STREAM stand for? Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts/Agriculture and MathematicsTwo young girls sit at a desk.
